Guest Blogging

Amy Putkonen from Cirkla.com contacted me recently. It was about doing a guest post for her upcoming series on Intuition, running the entire month of January. Myself, along with quite a few others have all contributed articles on intuition. So, be sure to bookmark her site and check out the other posts as well.

Here is the opening paragraph from my article:  Can using your natural born intuition help you with everyday real life applications like a job search? Here are some tips for using your intuition to help you find a new employer.

I wrote this article because of someone very close to me going through the long process of finding a new job. The anxiety, the longing, and the potential for settling due to fear of the unknown are a reality when it comes to finding a new job in this day and age.

Listening to Your Intuition

We learned in a long drawn out painful way what it means to listen to your intuition. Or actually, what happens when you don’t listen to your inner knowing and ignore all the lights and sirens that are telling you to stay away from a certain job or employer. We have lived through this and thankfully the job searching is now behind us.

I guess what it comes down to in a job search is don’t settle. I realize that may come across as a bit much considering the current unemployment rate here in the United States, but do yourself a favor and make sure that there are green lights and go signals before you say yes to that new job.

You can post comments about the article below if you wish.

  2. Hi Laura,

Thanks for your contribution to our theme of Intuition. Your topic is an important one. So many people are still out there looking for the “right” work. If we are able to truly listen and to trust, there are clues to finding it! Have a great week and thanks so much for being part of our circle.
