Do You Need More Information To Build Your Spiritual Business?

Do you feel like you need more information to build your spiritual business? Find out how information overload keeps you from listening to your intuition.

Did you ever feel like sometimes we are just too connected these days? We have multiple social media choices to choose from and so much of our time gets sucked up jumping from one website to another. We follow tens and hundreds of people online who all have great things to say and seem to have the answers to our questions about building our spiritually based business.

The problems come in when we start getting conflicting answers to those questions. One person says one thing, and other person says the opposite. Whether you search for a specific piece of “how-to” information or look for clues to heal an emotion, you will always find the other side of the coin if you keep searching.

Are You Taking Yourself Out Of The Equation?

The problem in all these cases is that you go outside your inner knowing for answers. This leads to not trusting your intuition or your gut knowing. This happens when you receive an answer from one source and go on a search to validate that answer. What happens is instead of accepting that answer, you attempt to back it up with three more resources just to be sure the first piece of information was correct.

I understand we learn to use this methodology within our schooling, but when it comes to trusting your intuition it ends up taking away any deep resonance or aha moment we might have experienced.

What this does is take YOU out of the equation and takes away your personal power. You have just put three or more other opinions of what you should do in front of your own intuition.

This constant search for another opinion or more information is nothing more than an ego trick. When that happens you can forget to take any real action steps.

Information Overload Or Knowing For The Sake Of Knowing

When you continue on this search for more information, it can keep you from taking any real action toward your dreams and goals of building your spiritually based business. You end up thinking you need to heal all of your past life issues before you can start your purposeful work. All that is going to get you is living in a cycle of inaction.

It keeps you in the past and detracts you from what is happening to you today. Continuing to look at all your past life issues keeps you from doing those uncomfortable things that you would rather avoid in the here and now.

The Never Ending Search For More Information

Another way we stay in the zone of comfortable is by developing an insatiable curiosity about ALL of our past lives. How many have we lived? Was I someone famous? What did I do for a living? When we get wrapped up in the novelty of knowing about every past life we can forget that we are here in the present. We can forget to live today. When our curiosity takes over and we go on a search for more information, all that does is take us away from the beauty of living today.

Aside from using past lives as a healing tool, do you need to know that 12 lifetimes ago you were a military general? The only reason that information becomes helpful is by using it to heal, learn, and grow from any mistakes your soul perceived itself to make in that lifetime so you can take the next step.

The thing is; we can stay stuck at this point for a long time. It will still feel scary and uncomfortable to take that new action. Energy healing clears the way, but you have to take the next step yourself. No spirit guide is going to take the action for you.

Doing The Uncomfortable

So, look at this as an opportunity to get comfortable with what you keep avoiding. If you already knew what to do, what would you have to do next? Sit with that discomfort and ask yourself what might be behind the feelings. One of my favorite things to ask myself is “Will I die if I take this action?” So far the answer has always been no.

What do you need to do next in your business, life, or relationship? What uncomfortable action or conversation do you need to have? You know what to do next and you have all the information you need right now. Take a deep breath and just go do it. I support you 100%.

  1. I was JUST having an experience with this today. (Well, an evolving experience that seemed to peak today).
I meditate. I write morning pages. I have taken workshop after workshop. I read … a lot. I educate myself constantly. The cycle continues! You are intending to find answers through all of this, (and perhaps you do), but it seems as if the answers that come turn into new questions!

I received your email and the headline caught my attention (kudos on that, by the way!)
I appreciate the timing of it and the eloquence of your words/thoughts.

Taking action. That’s the step. However, when you want to take action but you’re still unclear on what that action should be, you contemplate. Right? Meditate. Still your mind …

    THAT HAS BEEN MY PROCESS!

And, I’m realizing that it’s a matter of DOING.
I haven’t felt much of a push to do so, it has come through this cycle Of repetitive “Groundhogs Days” that no longer serve me.

The change can change when we change something. Even

    Until, we just ACT.
