Personal Development Books Worth Reading

I read a lot of self-help and personal development books and I am pretty sure you do too. Sometimes I prefer the feel of books in my hand and sometimes I enjoy the convenience of reading them on my Kindle – which I do really love by the way. I just received a new book in the mail a few days ago and just love the feel of the pages in my hand.

It is interesting however that no matter how many books I have purchased over the years, I have never finished over 90% of them. There are actually very few that I have sat down and read from cover to cover, much less read a second time.

The reason there are very few on my list is because in order for me to finish a book it must shift my thinking in a big way and I think that is what you also look for in a book. There are still many more I have on my up and coming reading list, but I will say I have become picky about what I read anymore.

I think the books that shift your thinking and explain how you can make your spiritually based business goals a reality are the best. What I look for in a good read is being able to take the information and use it right away. Some of the books become reference material and others become ones I pick up about once a year.

I thought I would share with you those few books that I have finished and read more than once. This list is short, but these books resonated with me at a deep level.

I can’t completely put this book on the short list yet as I am still in the middle of reading it, but so far I can highly recommend this book.

Having worked previously in the financial industry for eleven years, the beginning chapters of this book really pushed some of my buttons as to who actually wins in the mutual fund business.

It brings to light things that I had always suspected to be true, but never knew for sure. If you have ever felt like you have lost control of your money this book will help you take back that control.
