Email Whitelisting

Thank you for subscribing to the IntuitiveJournal.com community!

Many email providers and internet companies now use automated programs to block unwanted email, which you may think of as spam. Sometimes, however these automated programs can get a bit overzealous and may block email you actually want and opted in to receive.

To ensure you are able to receive emails from IntuitiveJournal.com, please do the following:

Add the email address contact @ intuitivejournal.com (remove spaces) to your email whitelist or contact list. This is a list of email addresses within your email client (ie. Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.). By adding my email address to your list you are telling your email provider that you want to receive email from me. This gives you the best chance of receiving the content you have requested.

I understand spam is a pretty big problem these days and know you don’t want a bunch of unsolicited emails in your inbox. Unfortunately many of those automated programs used to weed out spam go a bit too far and also weed out content you have requested.

Think about it…have you signed up for a free report somewhere on the internet and never received it? The chances are good it was marked as spam by your email provider. What happens is you do not receive the content you specifically asked for by entering your email address.

So, here is what you can do to ensure you continue to receive emails from me: Take a minute and whitelist contact @ intuitivejournal.com within your email program.

Follow these instructions for Gmail or any other web-based email that filters broadcasts away from your main inbox:

For Gmail:

Gmail has changed and now by default it is set up with tabs across the top which include a primary tab, a promotions tab, and a few others. You may not notice this if you are using gmail via a mobile device. If you have had trouble receiving emails the chances are it either ended up in your spam/junk folder or under your promotions tab.

  • The easiest way to whitelist within Gmail is to take your initial welcome email from ‘‘IntuitiveJournal.com’ and drag it into the Primary or Priority tab at the top. When you do that future emails you receive from me will go into the Primary tab and you will receive all of your messages.
  • If you want to get rid of those tabs and put your inbox back to the way it used to be, go to your Gmail account, click on settings (a little gear icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen), configure your inbox, then uncheck everything but primary. That way all emails will go to the same place. You may have to do this on a desktop/laptop computer.

Other Email Providers:

  • Look for a + sign next to the email address in the from section of the welcome email and then click on “add to contacts” and save.

or

  • Right click on the email from me in your inbox. Right click on the email subject line, select “junk email” from the menu, and then click “add sender to safe senders list”.

Unsubscribing:

If at any point you wish to unsubscribe, please do not mark my emails as spam. All you have to do is click on the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of any email I send out and you will be immediately unsubscribed.
