Seeing any repeating number is a sign a current issue in your life needs attention and the numbers are a sign to get you to pay attention. Your subconscious is trying to make you aware of something important at a conscious level through angel messages.
When a repeating number pattern like 12:12 is doubled it means there is an intensification of the number 12, so it is something you want to consciously look back on and review. Your Guides and guardian angels are marking it something specific with importance and that is why the numbers doubled. Through the love and support of your angels Guides they want you to see the number and are showing it to you as they do not feel that you have fully grasped the whole of the concept that they are trying to get across you.

Using numerology you can better understand the energy and meaning of the number 1212. We will first look at the number 12 by itself and then look at what happens when the number is doubled. We will also look at the root numbers.

1+2 = 3 (also written as 12/3)

So, the root number of three signifies joyful creation, manifesting happiness, and fluid action and motion. Think about the shape of the number three itself. Take a piece of paper and pen and slowly draw the number three from top to bottom and back to the top. You can trace it back and forth with fluid motion.
Three represents mind-body-spirit and also the trinity. It is about new life.

The number six signifies family, relationships, responsibility and service. Think about being pregnant with a child. There is a lot of responsibility involved in raising a new child. Think also about birth and rebirth. Are you “pregnant” with a new idea? Perhaps a new business venture?

The number 12 is one that represents education, service, and in some cases sacrifice for the sake of knowledge. I would also add that to me represents wisdom and well-roundedness.
12:12 Bringing it all together
Because it is also made up of the numbers 3 and 6, the aspects of each of those numbers are deepened when combined together. Having two 12’s together intensifies its’ meaning.
Here is one way you can put it together: So, for example, say you had a new business idea you were excited about pursuing. If you see 12:12 shortly after thinking about your new idea it can indicate that you will need more education before you can birth the idea into an actual business. Sacrifice might be needed in order for you to have the time available to study or build your business. This could affect your family and other responsibilities.

- 12 represents time as in twelve hours in a day, 12 calendar months.
- It represents a dozen of something. A dozen is very satisfying. We have a dozen eggs, a dozen doughnuts, a dozen cookies are just a few things that come to mind. A dozen roses for your sweetie.

- There are 12 signs of the zodiac
- 12 lunation’s in a lunar year

What to do if you see 12:12
If you are reading this because you see 12:12 repeatedly, think about the words that stuck out in what you just read. What have you been thinking about creating, starting, or doing that is joyful to you? Will your idea need more research or knowledge before it is ready to launch? Do you have well-rounded knowledge and wisdom of the subject? Have you double-checked everything involved? Will your idea be met with resistance because it will take time away from family?
Challenges to 12:12
In Chaldean Numerology, the number 12 is sometimes known to as the Victim or Sacrifice Number. So, while that may sound not so nice, how can you use it to your advantage? Well, if you think of the word victim, what comes to mind? Someone that is perhaps taken advantage of or used by others? Someone who is suffering or anxious? In order to make sure that does not happen, what do you need to double-check?
Have you placed trust in someone who has their interests above yours? Are you standing by thinking everything is okay and not finding out what is actually going on behind the scenes? Don’t allow yourself to fall into these traps. Are you being a doormat or are you standing up for yourself? Take charge, learn all you can and dig deep if you think something isn’t right.
