I want to take a moment and say a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my articles, comment on my blog, get an intuitive reading from me, and sign up for my newsletter. Thank you so much!

I am blown away by the support of this community and the wonderful comments that have been posted. I am truly grateful to all of you.

It has been absolutely wonderful connecting with new friends and like-minded intuitive people. I love the diversity of each person’s specializations, like reading auras, mediumship, spirit guides, and oracle cards.

Two years…where have the days gone?

The Third Year

So, what plans do I have for this site in the upcoming year? As some of you may know from past posts, I left my day job June 10th to work full time from home. It has taken a few months, but feel I am finally getting into the groove of self-employment and self-discipline.

I will continue offering intuitive readings, while refining and honing my skills and specializations. There are some areas I really want to explore in more depth both from a learning perspective and also a historical perspective.

I will be writing more about psychic abilities, emotional healing, Archangels, astrology, astral projection, and lucid dreaming.

I am also dabbling with ideas for an e-book. Yikes!

I am also open to learning what you would like me to write about on Intuitive Journal or what you would like to see in an e-book. I would love it if you would drop me a comment below or just stop by and say hello.

Leaving My Day Job

A major life change is upon me and I am excited, scared, and in awe. I guess I really never thought this day would come, but is has. I gave my 2-week notice to my day job last week Wednesday. My last day is scheduled for June 10th. I will be full-time self employed from this point forward. In my last blog post, I told you I would let you in on one of the obligations I released from my life, so this is it.

For the past 6 years or so, I have read other people’s blogs and have silently cheered for them as they announced they have left their day jobs to pursue their calling and life’s purpose. I always loved reading those types of posts. They were so inspirational! Well, today is my day to follow in their footsteps and do the same thing.

This is not something I just jumped into. I began my first website back in 2005 and have worked part time at it and others for the past 5-1/2 years. For the past two years I have saved up as much as I could. I will go into more detail on that in a future post.

The last few weeks leading up to this have been wrought with fear, confusion, and a sense of obligation. My energy would swing from one extreme to the other. Before I made the final decision to leave, I just couldn’t put my finger on what was holding me back. It turns out my ego needed to have its say. And it CERTAINLY had a lot to say! I used Automatic Writing to dialogue the following exchange:

The Ego Speaks – Loudly!

Ego: Well Laura, do you really think your are going to get rid of all your problems by quitting your job? I have kept you safe for many years. what makes you think you can carve out a living for your self by yourself? You need me to keep you safe. I protect you and you try to take all the credit. You will always need someone to protect you. You really don’t have it in you to succeed on your own.

Yes, I know your hearts desire is to be self employed and earn a living on your own. Who are you kidding? You haven’t done it so far, so what makes you think you can now? You have enough income to get by, why do you want more? So what if you time is owned by someone else? What’s wrong with that? Not everyone here on this Earth is meant to be a leader. You have a long way to go in that arena. You can’t even have a decent conversation with people that you do know. I really hate you for trying to be more than you are.

Me: Are you done yet?

Ego: No, I am not done. You always try to bury me and now I will have my say, darn it. I am here for a reason and you would be well served to listen to me. You don’t have the guts to leave your job. Your boss does a great job of protecting you, why do you have to blow that? The world is a very scary place and you will be down and out in no time. You will be asking your husband for money sooner than you think. And I know how you love to do that.

What makes you think that your ideas are so great? You have gotten this far by a lot of hard work and luck that someone was protecting you. You are not meant to be on your own. You will disappoint yourself and others around you. You live by fear of disappointing others and I don’t see that changing. That is what I am here for. I protect you. If you were to change, you would really have to get up on your own two feet and make a change. I don’t see you doing that. You are weak and need protecting.

Me: Are you done now? What if I do it anyway and leave my job? What if I succeed?

Ego: I really don’t think you will. But I guess you can try if you really want to. You’ll just disappoint your family and yourself.

Me: What if I don’t?

Ego: Well, I just don’t really know then, but it still doesn’t seem like a good idea to me to go out on your own.

Me: What if you protected me still, but just a little less?

Ego: Well, I guess that would be alright. So you wouldn’t abandon me completely?

Me: No, I still need you, just not as overbearing.

Ego: I guess I could live with that.

Me: Do you have anything else to say to me?

Ego: No, I guess not, but I might later.

I had this conversation with myself on Tuesday afternoon last week. I was able to walk in Wednesday morning and give my notice. My ego just needed to have its say in the matter and I needed to acknowledge the fears.

Foward to a New Future

So a new chapter of my life is beginning and another is closing. It all seems a bit surreal at the moment. I will be concentrating on giving intuitive readings, so if you have thought about getting a reading, check it out.

Spiritual Meaning of 333

Do you see the repeating number 333? Find out what the symbolism of this number sequence means to you and your life. I have written before about other repeating numbers like 11:11, 222, and 444 in case you are seeing those numbers as well.

Seeing any repeating number is a sign that there is an current issue in your life and the numbers are a sign to get you to pay attention. It is a persons subconscious trying to make them aware of something consciously.

What is the Spiritual Meaning of 333?

It means that is a sign that the angels signify their agreement to your thoughts. It means truth and is a sign of the trinity. Mind, body, and spirit. Three becoming one. Angels love, protect, and surround you and the union is complete. Angels are in your midst.

Think of 333 as an equilateral triangle, with each of the sides and points being equal. It is the numerical representation of truth. Not just in right and wrong, but as Truth.

As each number has its own energetic vibration, you have an attachment to the energy in which this number vibrates. The number has been embedded into your subconscious, most likely before you incarnated in this lifetime and is there to help you see what Truth really is.

The meaning of 333 is a union of mind body and spirit. It signifies truth and that we are all one. All things are equal. If any one of the sides of the triangle is lopsided, you will not be able to come to your true potential as a human being. Envision yourself in the middle of that triangle. Taking care of the mind is as important as taking care of the body and also the spirit.

Seeing 333 is a notice to you that you need to work more on balancing the whole. That you are concentrating too much on only one side of the triangle. What is truth? Truth is being whole, equaling one, balance, harmony.

What should someone do if they see 333 repeatedly?

It is time to realize that one does affect the other. Your thoughts affect your cellular body. Your spirit affects your physical body and also your logical side. When you are too concentrated in thinking negative thoughts, those impressions leave a mark on your cellular body and damages the spirit as well.

We are all one, all humans on this earth are one. Once fear and ego are set aside, realize that we are cut from the same cloth. It is a union, to become whole, as one.

In seeing 333, your guides and angels are sending a gentle reminder to you so that you can see and understand that. It is a reminder to regain control over all 3 areas of your being. Only you have that ability, your angels cannot do it for you. You may of course ask for their assistance anytime you wish, but you must see that it is up to you to make the decision to bring the pieces together to form an equal whole.

It also means that your angels are with you and is a sign of confirmation from the angels. It is aligned with divine truth, light, and love.

What does this mean in practical terms?

Ask your body what it needs? Nourishing food, exercise, or rest?

Ask you mind what it needs? Healing or forgiveness?

Ask you spirit what it needs? Are you giving your power away?

Begin making changes that bring things into balance. It is an opportunity for you to connect with your angels and that your mind, body, and spirit are in agreement with your Soul’s evolution. When numbers begin to repeat themselves, it is a sign to reconnect with your soul, that you are on purpose in life and to be mindful of new opportunities that cross your path.

Wow! It has been one year since I started this website. It has come a long, long, way from the vision in my head that I had last summer. I absolutely love writing articles for this site and have at least 200 more swimming in my head. Now, to just get fingers to the keyboard! Good thing I can type reasonably well.

I initially started Intuitive Journal because I had so much swimming through my mind when it came to emotional healing and psychic abilities, not to mention those pesky repeating numbers, that I had to find some type of outlet to record my thoughts.

So, I started this website. Please take a look at my about page if you want to know a bit more about what got me interested in starting this site. The first dozen posts were just a warm up to get the thoughts out of my head and on to virtual paper.

I do believe for me that this is a day worth celebrating, and not just letting it pass me by. If you don’t celebrate the small things in life sometimes…

The Second Year

So, what plans do I have for this site in the upcoming year?

I have started doing intuitive readings via donation. My plans are to expand this area to include Reiki distance healing and oracle card readings as well.

I have many more posts swimming around in my head, which I must commit to virtual paper or else they will disappear. I want to write more about psychic abilities, emotional healing, Archangels, astrology, astral projection, and lucid dreaming.
