My Experiences
Do you keep seeing repeating number sequences like 11:11? I do, and I have for the past year or so, since about January 09. It was quite puzzling to me in the beginning, but also fascinating, so I began to do some digging via the search engines and in books to find out as much as I could about this strange phenomena regarding the 11:11 time prompt.
Pay attention to the feeling you have when you see 11′s or double 11′s. You may begin to realize the significance behind the numbers in your life, others just dismiss it. If you pause momentarily every time you see 11′s then they most likely do mean something to you and you might want to start to pay more attention to what you were thinking about when you saw the numbers.
So Why are You Seeing These Numbers?
Ah, the $100,000 question! It seems to be the burning question on everyone’s mind these days. There are literally dozens of possible interpretations of why you are seeing these numbers or symbols. I personally think it is quite an individualized message.
Many theories I have read seem to think it is a sign of something bigger than all of us together. It may just be divine intervention telling you it is time to wake up from your lifelong nap and discover a new perspective on your reality and truth. It could also be a sign from your angels and spirit guides that they are trying to communicate to you. No one seems to have a definitive answer, at least not yet. I think to me seeing all these numbers means that it is a validation of my thoughts and I should pursue them and that they are on track with my highest path and purpose. My thoughts right now involve quitting my full-time job to be able to work on my web sites full-time instead and make a full-time income from these web sites that I own.
So, yes I believe that 1111 is a wake-up call to action. Also, I do not feel I am alone in this conscious spiritual journey, and neither are you. I will write more about this as my level of understanding increases.

I have been blessed with seeing 11:11 (and 11:11 sequences only) for nearly ten years now. I too have done much research on the net and read a few 11:11 related books, with varying theories for seeing 11:11. I see it everywhere without looking for it, and very often on digital clocks or computers, and when I do I get the most peaceful, warm, positive feeling and have a `knowing’ that I am loved, guided and part of a much greater `oneness’. It really makes me smile and touches my human heart.
When I first starting seeing 11:11 I thought I was going mad, it started happening around a time I had some tough life decisions to make. During this time I felt loved, guided and protected, and moved on from an unhappy relationship making some great decisions.
I am now very happily married with a loving husband and beautiful toddler, and the 11:11 prompt has not left me. And for that I am truly grateful, as I feel that there is something really special happening in our `true reality’ (our greater reality), which is yet to be revealed to us. I too have felt like I am living inside a Matrix (I use that word too), in that what we see in our earthly lifetime experience is only a small part of a much greater reality that is beyond our limited human comprehension. Sometimes I also feel like an actor on stage, knowing that this human experience is just that – an experience, something that will test me spiritually and better prepare me for my next human life or return `home’.
I initially felt lonely as my friends were not seeing the 11:11 or feeling it’s vibration. However, I now know that there are many other people out there just like me having exactly the same experience and that we humans are all at varying levels of our spiritual journey and some people are yet to tap into their spiritual side.
A while ago, I did feel a sense of `homesickness’ like I belonged somewhere else and had a yearning to be back there (which my husband could not understand and was concerned about). I knew this was associated with the 11:11. I felt this way even despite having a loving, wonderful husband and beautiful child, a fantastic family and a great job. I also became irritated by trivial talk or people complaining about minor things when I felt we were all put on this earth for a much greater purpose. I have definately experienced a heightened feeling or knowing when I can and cannot trust someone, and always feel loved, guided and protected by a ever present spirit guide or force.
I am now at peace with returning `home’ when my creator so chooses. I also feel blessed to have this life experience and grateful for the love and light that I feel surrounded with. I no longer have the degree of yearning to be home and appreciate and love my human life that I am currently living.
11:11 continues to remind me most of all that I am a soul/spirit having a human experience in a human body, and my soul will return home to a place I feel (and have an inner knowing) is awesome and beyond human words. This will happen when my creator so determines. In the meantime, I want to love and care for people as much as I can, and also tell more open minded people that there is a much greater reality than that which we see through our limited human eyes and human experience. I do feel that I am a lightworker, and that there is a reason for me seeing 11:11 and that is to spread love and a feeling of `oneness’. When I see it I think “mmm…what can I do next?” (to help or love someone else).
I am an educated and rational type of person, so I do not discuss my 11:11 with others, who may consider me crazy etc. I do however have a couple of close friends (open minded and spiritual) and my immediate family that I have told. One thing that I have noticed since seeing 11:11 is that although I was raised Catholic and still believe in a God or a Creator, I am not interested in religion or attending church. I am more interested in the spiritual realm and feel that man-made religions do not reflect our much greater reality (this I feel but is it is so hard to put in words). I also feel sadness that religion is responsible for dividing people worldwide. I have a heightened sense of love and compassion for others, even strangers.
I know my life has a purpose, and that the 11:11 is some kind of spiritual wake up call to follow my true path and to be true to myself and others in doing so. I am trying to do that the best way I can and when I feel challenged, it’s never too long before I see 11:11 again and I call upon my spirit guides to assist me in my actions and words to stay on my true spiritual path.
I am happy to hear you too have been blessed with this 11:11 experience.

Dear Lana, this is so true that physical part of us isn’t eternal. I would like to share what I have found while exploring myself.
What is a Human Being? A Human Being is composed of two elements; matter & Spirit. Matter as we all know is not forever, it fades away with the passage of time. What’s eternal, is our Spirit. What is Spirit? SPIRIT is part of the CREATOR, this is the reason it is said that every human BEING is an attribute to the CREATOR. One can be attribute to the CREATOR only if the CREATOR is present within that self. So, if Spirit is CREATOR, then what is CREATOR? “CREATOR is LIGHT of Heavens & Earth” What is Light? Light is a form of Energy and this Energy is keeping our physical part alive. One can’t touch Energy but can feel It. If one wants to see the Creator in form, then it appears in the form of “Human Being.” “CREATOR was a hidden Treasure and HE decided to expose HIMSELF; thus HE created Adam.” Means, the CREATOR without any form or shape is LIGHT, but if one wishes to see HIM in form then HE appears in the form of Human Being. It’s just like oxygen in a tank (tank in this case is Human body), once released, it gets back to its Origin.
The moment one realizes the purpose of his/her creation, he/she gets the Path to The ORIGIN. A human being is like a drop of water extracted from an ocean and dropped on land. The Ocean is the CREATOR from whom we are being separated. The motive is to get back to the OCEAN, that’s where & why we’re being granted with free will to choose which path to pick. The one who gets attracted by the World is like the Drop who chooses to walk away from OCEAN as a result of which that Drop is eventually sucked by the Earth(World). Let me quote another example. Everything, being described in the Bible, Quran etc is told in metaphor (example) and then the CREATOR says, “There is wisdom in it for those who think (research).” Let’s consider the example of LIGHT and shadow, “The LIGHT in this example is the CREATOR while shadow is compared with worldly desires. A shadow is formed if one turns his/her back to the LIGHT and one can’t catch his/her shadow. More one runs after it the farther it runs away.”
Let’s take a look at it from Spiritual perspective. The moment one turns his/her back to the CREATOR, he/she starts following his/her dark desires. The more he/she runs after that shadow or dark desires the far he/she gets from the LIGHT. And there comes a time when that individual gets lost in complete darkness and can’t figure out his/her way back to the CREATOR. On the contrary, when one turns his/her face towards the LIGHT, a shadow is at the back of that individual. Now interestingly, in this case the shadow is following the individual instead of that individual running after it.
Moral: If one keeps his/her intentions towards the CREATOR, the worldly matters are being taken care of by the CREATOR HIMSELF (given that you play your part honestly by working hard).
Now in the continuation of the above described example, the Drop which decides to get back to the ORIGIN (CREATOR), keeps moving toward the OCEAN and a time comes when that Drop jumps into the OCEAN and guess what it’s no more a drop separated from the OCEAN but rather it’s “THE OCEAN” now.
WELCOME BACK the CREATOR says to HIMSELF.
One’s body is the Church, Mosque, Sinagogue, Mandir, etc. What’s a church or mosque? It’s believed that it’s the place where God lives. As proved above, the CREATOR lives within ourselves, so no need to search for HIM in empty skies, HE is within us. The more you explore HIM the more confident you’ll get, the more you’ll realize that you’re not what your eyes see in the mirror. Let’s get out of this self made dimensions to define ourselves, let’s step into SPIRITUAL dimensions, there are millions of universes to be explored let alone the one science has explored.

I have been seeing 11:11 for years – prior to 9/11 too. I have heard several different theories of those of us who repeatedly see this certain number or other series of numbers. I read once that when you see this number you are suppose to utter a wish or prayer – I always do. I also read that it is a message from your angels/guides to remind ya that they are there working in your favor – whatever it is I know those who see this number over and over we are called to something bigger, better and awesome.

I had two experiences in 2010 where I was working and listening to my pop radio program when the DJ announced that the time was 11:11. I just stopped and looked at the radio. Then
I smiled.
I am wondering if you have ever heard of the verbal 1111.
I was working on what I want to do in my life and have been so timid in doing this work. I took it as a wake-up and embrace the dream moment.

I saw a couple of days ago 11:11 and 1:11 while talking w/ fellow lightworkers on the computer. i just “happened” yeah right, to look at the clock at those times. The 2nd time 1:11 a friend and i were talking about DNA and giving page links to one another! there are no coincidences! I have known that i am a bridge for a while. I am glad to have found like minded people.

For me it started probably back in 2008 when I somewhat started a shift towards a world where I am more giving of my time and doing things for others. At that time it also coincided when I started to evaluate my character and look to improving it. 11:11 started to appear.
This went on for about 1 year – when I saw it I wouldn’t stress – it never occurred to me that it was negative what- so-ever – I just took it in and smiled. Then one night just before going to bed I glanced at my clock and saw 11:11 – I thought that’s it, tomorrow morning I am going to simply Google this number. Well I was amazed. What struck me deeply was the idea that its essentially a message that I am on the right path. Seemed reasonable considering my recent transformation at the time and so that became almost a foundation to me, a re-enforcement to continue to improve myself and give to others selflessly.
11:11 essentially opened the door to a whole new reality to me – a complete paradigm shift, now for others it may not have the same effect but to me, knowing my soul, I started to understand that there is more to life than what we simply see…Now I consciously project my positive thoughts and feelings and it comes back to me as intended…I feel very fortunate in life..
In the last year or so the numbers have increased – so now I see 111, 222, 333, 444 and 888 – all the time – unintended. 888 is interesting because both times I saw it prior to seeing the number I was in a state of mind where I had to be calm..breath in…then when I breathed out calmly I looked and saw 888…so I looked up this Angel number and there was an indication of unexpected money or financial positive.. I accepted it..and moved on – 2 days later or so the Sr.VP to my dept called me to his office and gave me a substantial Christmas bonus which was completely unexpected…but yet very timely.
I think all of us that have posted here are very fortunate – we all have our own story as to why this is happening and yes you can feel isolated…for me I came to realize that I am a lightworker…it just came naturally to me…I don’t stress about it…I realize its importance and when the opportunity is there I work…in the beginning I felt alone (only in that you don’t really talk to people about this – typically) but now I think the place of origin for lightwork does not require any acknowledgment what-so-ever… little off topic but related I think for sure…

I started seeing 11.11 everyday from 2008 while working in security.Before that I was quite ill and lost quite a bit from life.from there I decided to get back in touch with my old self, I was born into the gypsy life and got lost trying to civilize myself.
Healed myself back to health and started connecting again to my guides.
I am now a poet/novelist trying to get the message out.
I have seen planet x in visions and a lot more, long before google came around, the date is not certain but before x comes along we shall discover the 7s, two of which are from astroids and missiles, a successful mission but still all the worlds people laid down to accend.
so not so succesfull in the end for our jailors.

7 years now i have been seeing repeating numbers. I have a calender on my wall where i keep track & frankly after last months count of 37 occurrances it’s no accident i see them everywhere. Clocks, sales slips, license plates, etc. Can’t say it’s anything but divine influence. Wish i knew what it all means though.

Yes there are a couple very specific things I know I asked for this life. I asked to be at the right place at the right time. To be the one person that can stand up for what is right. To be the one person that can handle a situation the right way. Where someone else would most likely take advantage of, manipulate for selfish petty gain. To be able to stand tall & proud against a potentially devastating experience.
I realized in my teen years I was not going to get out of this life prematurely. Tested that one enough times. I have been the lone boy scout living on the street in a self induced haze of drugs. I saved a life, I fought many battles, I am honored to be trusted with this gift of protection from my team of Angels by my side.

So I still don’t know what all this means because it really only started for me at the beginning of this year (2011). It started when I began to hang out with this one person quite often. Then it progressively got more apparent as I eventually started seeing the person almost everyday (we live close so we see each other everyday). Then one day I told him, it turned out that I’d constantly be seeing 11:11 and he would always see 12:34. It kind of freaked us out.
Weird coincidences started happening:
- I’d ask him what the time would be and it would either be 11:11 or 12:34. Sometimes it would feel like it was teasing us by being 11:10 or 11:12 or 12:33.
- I would get a text from him and it would be 11:11 when I got it.
- We both would see the numbers on foxtel or our computers/phones would freeze on 11:11 or 12:34
I could keep going. But it was always weird because I saw 11:11 almost all the time and not 12:34 but with him it was vice versa…
I also started seeing 69 everywhere around 5 months ago and it’s still going strong. Mostly on my battery and before there are any skeptics out there, let me just say this: I would not check my battery for the whole entire day and then, WHEN I do – 69%. This happens at least twice – A DAY (I charge throughout the day). Is THAT coincidence?! I really really don’t think so… Im super confused and so is my friend. It hasnt stopped. I even when the check the microwave today – 12:34. ?!! Help!!
In addtion to that, I’d always pick up my phone for no reason (you know, when you pick it up just to check time or whatever) and then pretty much a split second after I’d pick up my phone, I would get a text from him or a call. This is without prior notification of a call/text… Almost as if I knew I was going to get a call/text… But, I didn’t. I am freaked out by this every single time!!!!
It started as a joke “haha it’s 11:11 make a wish” then it became “it’s 11:11″. “of course it is.”

According to Doreen Virtue’s book, “Angel Numbers 101″, she states that the number 69 means “As you spend time working on activities related to your spiritual passions and interests, every part of your life automatically improves.”
In general, the repeating ascending number 1234 is a sign that the thought you just had is a step in the right direction or a right course of action for you. While seeing a descending number like 321 would indicate the opposite.
Anyway, I think that this person is supposed to be in your life at the moment. You may not know the entire reason right now, but have a sense of exploration and see where it leads.
Hi Laura. I was recently offered a position with a skin care company. I should feel elated, which I am, yet I was recently promoted in the position with the company whom I’m currently employed. Today on my way to work for a corporate visit and worrying about the new job offer and how things would turn out today with the visit, I was behind a car whose license plate read: “Don’t worry about anything, God’s got it all under control”. The visit went well and all afternoon, when I happen to check the time, I saw 3:33 – 4:44 – 5:55. Before I left work my sales were 1111.99…I read your number sign meanings, yet I’m not quite sure what to think. This saturday I will be placing my two-weeks notice as I accepted the other position. I’m just a little apprhensive whether I’m making the right choice. Could you explain what does one do when they get a multitude of triple digits all day. How do does one interpret their meaning. It sounds like you are unsure if you should make the leap. From what you wrote, it seems seeing all of the repeating numbers indicate you will be fine making the jump. It is a way that the Universe is giving you an answer. As a double check, try this technique. Standing up, take a few slow breaths and center yourself. Ask the following question: Is it within my highest path and purpose to take job A? Notice where your breath is. If you are breathing with your chest, it is within your highest path and purpose. If you find yourself breathing through your stomach, it is more than likely not the right choice. Ask the same question with job B.
Another thing you can do is flip a coin. It really doesn’t matter what comes up, what matters is what you hope comes up when it is on its way falling to the ground.
I hope that helps you out a bit. Trust your gut and listen to any red flags you sense.
Hi Laura. I read you post. I did just what you suggested. I took some deep breathes and noticed my breathing came from my chest and not my gut. I flipped a quater and thought of heads and it indeed came up heads! When I was at work today I mentioned to my boss (who doesn’t know yet that I’m leaving), that I had been seeing 333,444,555,888,1111. And just after saying that I ring up a client and her total was $4.44! I then printed my sales about 10 minutes later and subtracted what was left to make my quota and the total was 555.99! I was beyond belief! After mentioning this again to my boss, it couldn’t have been 1 minute, I ask the next client for her rewards card in which she gave me her phone # as we use this method to locate card #’s and she says…”my number is 210.444-****!!! I left for the day and my total dollars over my goal was 888.99!! I can’t begin to tell you how incredible it all seems. I’ve had this happen years ago when it was constant as it is now but never knew what to make of it. I look forward for any feedback.

I have to share my story with others who are having the same experience. I started seeing 11:11 30 years ago, at the age of 15. I would wake up out of a sound sleep, look at the clock and it would be 11:11. If I would still be awake I would look at the clock at 11:11. It happened, and still does, all the time.
I was raised in a Christian home. I never really understood why people thought going to church was part of getting closer to God or heaven. When I moved out on my own I stopped attending church. Years down the road, I got a desire for truth. I just wanted to know, I had to figure it out. I read the Bible start to finish. I had a clearer understanding, but knew there had to be more.
I started recently exploring other faiths, mostly western. I have started meditating, connecting to the earth, and trying to get all the knowledge I can. I never put the 11:11 equation into my spiritual journey.
I have always been viewed as ‘different’, or strange because I did not and do not follow traditional church faiths. On my journey, I have tried to tell some friends, the things I had discovered or learned, let’s just say I have had some strange looks, and even lost some friends along the way.
I just wanted to share with others. It’s nice to know that there are others as well who have had the 11:11 sightings.

I just want to say reading your story was like reading my own….verbatim!!!! I too have felt home sickness….it comes and goes…cannot explain it….I have this need to look up in the sky which I call space especially at night and look up in the stars and feel like home is out there….really really cannot explain it….do you do that?
And is it just me or has anyone else stopped to think why is it that we a select few from all around the globe regardless of race or gender or age are experiencing the exact same thing at the same time!!!! I guess “they” will let us know soon….our other family from far far away….from home

I’ve been reading some incredible information on 11:11 since sometime in January. I’ve been seeing it appear for years, but never did anything about it until then. I had seen the numbers on my computer screen about 6 inches high on a banking website (somewhere this should not have occured). Descided that day at that moment it was a wakeup call, something told me to Google it right then & WOW! Alot of information at that point & the door opened, leading me to your post through a medium I’m fb friends with on a fb group called Visits from Heaven. A wonderful group for those who have experience the loss of a loved one or had special experiences from Heaven. I’ve been led to you and reading your words were like having someone say EXACTLY what I’ve been experiencing over the last few months. Thank you so much. I now feel like I’m not alone out here on my own trying to decifer all of this information. It’s very overwhelming for me at times even to the point of physical exhaustion. I recently researched seeing the 333 because for about 9 months now I have seen the 11:11 or 1:11 every single day. I researched that and then left it alone, a new coworker that has just recently been hired I inquired her license plate meaning, she spoke to me about numerology briefly but also I mentioned to her what 11:11 meant and told her how I had been seeing it, I felt a connection that she was to help me open up and guide me to this path I am on now, she told me Friday 1/20/12 that now that I understand the 11:11 I have been seeing that I would now begin to see 3:33 it has begun over this weekend. I am amazed at what I did not “know” but excited to move forward and trust my intuition and learn more about this journey. *I want to apologize in advance for going on about this… I’ve had some insanely strange happenings lately and needed a place to let it out*
I’ve been seeing repeating numbers including 11:11 for about the past two or three months now.
At first I thought I was going crazy. It started off as two to three times a day. I might see 4:44, 1:11, 2:22 and so on… It progressively started to increase until one day I counted about 10-13 occurrences in that day alone.
That day went something like this:
-Woke up at 11:11,
-rewinded a song on my iTouch to 1:11:11
-subway advertisement had 666 in a phone number
-glanced at my phone / iPod to check the time a few times that day. 3:33, 4:44, 5:55
-I accidentally got on the wrong train and got off angrily and asked myself, “How in the f-ing world did I manage to take the Downtown E instead of the Uptown E train?” I glanced at the train car I was in for a moment right before it left the station. I was in car# 9-777. “You have to be kidding me.”
-my eyes fell on a small red dice with two of the sides repeating number 2.
-I asked my dad for change and he handed me four $2 bills. (I normally wouldn’t consider money as repeating numbers… but how often does someone hand you $2 bills)
I see it all the time now, as i stroll by parking meters, signs, license plates, digital clocks… it has truly gone out of control. I’ve just accepted it. I smile/laugh when it happens now. I guess it’s some sort of guidance?
Sometimes I wonder if I’m supposed to be doing something different. Should I mend that friendship that went ice cold? Am I a part of something greater that I can’t see?
I should also mention. My birthday is 2/22.
I’ll be turning 21 on 2/22/2012. Hah.
I’ve been told i have an interesting aura as my friend would say. Something spiritual she said.
Not 11:11 related (Dream related)…
My family is spiritual and believes in certain things that are dream oriented. Back in November I had a vivid dream of a girl and a friend of mine sitting in the train. I didn’t know who the girl was and I even asked my friend about it the next day. I saw all her features, hair color, face, clothes, etc. He said he may know someone with that description. I ended up forgetting about it… until recently I saw a photo of her on his Facebook page. My heart nearly stopped in shock. I grabbed the phone and asked him who it was. He said it was his relative.
For the months of November and December… my dreams have foreshadowed the decline of a relationship in my life weeks apart. I had revealed my intense feelings toward a friend that I had amazing chemistry with and was shut out.
Since then… I’ve been questioning my intuition and gut feelings. I’ve been asking myself if my own intuition could be incorrect at times. Maybe I shouldn’t doubt my instincts after one rather large mess. Then I’ll see the numbers repeating more and more through out the day and I want to believe that something is trying to say, “It’s okay. That was supposed to happen. Carry on.”
The past three months? Crazy! I feel like a piece of a puzzle or something sort of being unlocked.
Enough of my ramblings.

You have listed some great instances of seeing repeating numbers. If you think about it, many other people probably saw those exact same numbers and it didn’t mean a thing to them.
The fact that you were aware of them indicates you have a heightened ability to use them to guide you. Keep trusting your intuition. It sounds like you are at the beginning of a spiritual journey. I get the impression you may be a healer of some sort. Taking a class in Reiki or some other type of energy healing may be of interest to you if you keep finding yourself drawn to learning more about intuitive abilities.
My name is Armando and I’m 16. When ever I’m not expecting it I look at my phone and it’s 11:11 or 1:11 or just a house number would be 1111. when i started talking to these girl every time or half the time she would txt me and the time number would be 11:11 or how many messages there are would be 111. I am extremely Confuse and I found your website looking for answer but I’m still confuse. Please help
